Fair Use Policy

Last Updated: June 2026

Our "unlimited" shared hosting plans offer generous resources intended for normal website hosting. This Fair Use Policy ensures that all customers receive consistent, high-quality service by preventing any single account from degrading performance for others.

1. What "Unlimited" Means

"Unlimited" storage and bandwidth refer to the absence of hard caps on these resources for standard website operations. This includes running standard WordPress, WooCommerce, Joomla, or similar CMS sites; hosting business websites and landing pages; sending transactional emails through your domain email accounts; and storing website files, databases, and email content at reasonable volumes. The "unlimited" designation is designed for conventional web hosting workloads, not bulk data storage or media distribution.

2. Prohibited Activities on Shared Hosting

Shared hosting accounts must not be used for: running file storage or backup servers where files are not web-accessible content; video streaming or media distribution platforms; cryptocurrency mining or blockchain node operations; automated scraping or crawling that generates excessive server load; running unattended bots or daemons consuming persistent CPU; hosting software that creates an unusually large number of database connections; or any activity that consumes more than 20% of server CPU or memory resources on a sustained basis.

3. Resource Limits & Inode Caps

Each shared hosting account is subject to an inode limit — the maximum number of files and folders in your account. Starter plans: 100,000 inodes. Premium plans: 300,000 inodes. Business plans: 500,000 inodes. These limits cover all files, emails, database rows, and directories. Accounts approaching their inode limit will receive advance notification. High inode counts often result from accumulated email or cache files and can be reduced through standard housekeeping.

4. Enforcement & Upgrades

If your account is found to be in violation of this Fair Use Policy, NexzaHost will contact you first to discuss the issue and offer solutions — which typically means either removing the offending content, optimising the application, or upgrading to a VPS or dedicated plan better suited to your workload. We will not suspend your account without first attempting to reach you. Repeated or severe violations that directly impact other customers may result in temporary throttling or account suspension.
