How to White-Label Your Reseller Hosting Account

Set custom nameservers under your own domain, then update WHM branding settings so every client cPanel login shows your logo and support contact instead of NexzaHost's.

White-labeling means your clients never see NexzaHost's name — every login screen, every email notification, and every support contact shows your brand instead. This is what separates a reseller hosting business from simply sub-letting hosting accounts.

Step 1: Set up private nameservers first

Nameservers are the first thing a client sees when they set up their domain, so this needs to be in place before you touch anything else. This is covered in full in the private nameservers guide — creating ns1.yourbrand.com and ns2.yourbrand.com, pointing them at your reseller account's shared IP, and registering them as glue records with your registrar. Do that first; it can take a few hours to propagate, so starting early means it is ready by the time you finish the rest of the branding below.

Step 2: Set your company name and support contact

In WHM, go to cPanel → Branding Editor (or Server Configuration → Basic WebHost Manager Setup on older WHM versions) and set:

  • Company name
  • Support email and phone number
  • Support URL, if you run your own ticket system

This information appears in cPanel's help menu and in automated account emails, so a client contacting "support" reaches you, not NexzaHost.

Under cPanel → Branding Editor, select the theme your accounts use (usually "Paper Lantern" or "Jupiter" depending on your WHM version) and upload your logo in the branding section. This replaces the default cPanel/WHM logo on every client login screen.

Step 4: Update your billing system's branding too

If you run WHMCS or another billing platform for client invoicing, update its own branding separately — logo, company name, and email templates. WHM branding covers the hosting control panel; your billing system is a separate front door that needs its own logo and company details. See the WHMCS connection guide if you have not linked it to WHM yet.

Step 5: Test as a client would see it

Create a test cPanel account, then log in to it directly (not through WHM) using the cPanel URL. Confirm:

  • The custom nameservers resolve correctly for a domain pointed at them
  • The cPanel login screen shows your logo, not NexzaHost's
  • Any automated email a new account receives (welcome email, password reset) shows your company name and support contact

What clients will never see

Once nameservers, branding, and support contact are set, a client interacting with their hosting account has no reference point to NexzaHost anywhere in their day-to-day experience — the domain resolves through your nameservers, the login shows your logo, and support requests reach your inbox first. This is standard practice across the hosting industry and is fully supported on every NexzaHost Reseller, Master Reseller, and Alpha Reseller plan at no extra cost.
